About ArktiS

Yorkshire Air Museum, Elvington, York, UK

ArktiS began geocaching in October 2002, and liked Locationless (Reverse) Caches, so Waymarking is growing on ArktiS he believes.

On July 28, 2009 ArktiS posted his first waymark.

When posting waymarks ArktiS seek quality before quantity!

Why ArktiS ?

An old saying goes like this: »Tell me your name, and I shall tell you what you are called«. When waymarking or geocaching I use the alias ArktiS which is short for Arktistadt which is an artful abstract paraphrase of my family name presented to me by a good colleague more than 10 years ago. In accordance with the motto »if it ain't broke - don't fix it!« I have found no good reason to change it.
